Local produce can be sampled on a family picnic in the mountains or a boat ride soaking up the splendour of Lake Geneva and the surrounding area.
There are plenty of opportunities for family moments to cherish.

The Evian Resort, facing Lake Geneva, is just 35 minutes by boat from Lausanne and 1 hour from Geneva.
Geneva and Lausanne can be reached by boat for a day’s shopping on the other side of the lake. The town centre streets of these two cities are lined with endless Swiss, French and global luxury brands and are teeming with things to do and places to visit.
Prestigious watch enthusiasts will be in their element in Geneva where renowned jewellers present their sparkling creations. A host of shops showcase all the new collections, from ready-to-wear through to haute couture. Finally, the town’s museums and famous fountain in Geneva harbour which reaches a height of over 140 metres are must-visits.
Lausanne’s city centre also boasts a multitude of luxury brands. Flon, the Olympic capital’s new trendy quarter, combines the place for a night out or a visit to a contemporary art gallery with hip boutiques.
A contemporary art exhibition or a visit to a famous monument such as Ouchy castle or the cathedral can be slotted in between two purchases.
